If I could I would travel back, and be for my mother the mother that she needed.

My narrative work is focused on intergenerational trauma and compassionate storytelling. With my stories, I aim to open the boxes we shut away in fear, so that real healing can be possible, as it can only with compassionate honesty.

I'm currently at work on a short mental health minicomic about ComplexPTSD and therapy  (coming soon!) and on a full-length graphic memoir about intergenerational trauma (coming in a year or two).

In the meantime, please enjoy my research comic on intergenerational trauma and epigenetics.

New Leaves on the Tree

A research comic exploring how the study of epigenetics reveals how trauma affects inheritable gene expression across generations.
